Refund & Dispute Policy

SEOvault AI uses Paddle as our payment partner and Merchant of Record. This means Paddle handles checkout, billing, tax/VAT where applicable, and refund processing in accordance with Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

If you have a billing issue, want to cancel, or want to request a refund, the fastest path is Paddle’s buyer support portal (linked in your receipt): paddle.net. For product/help questions, you can always reach us at support@seovault.com.

Please read before purchasing

SEOvault is built for working WordPress authors, and it includes usage-based AI services with real underlying costs. We want pricing to be clear, and we want disputes to be rare because expectations were set properly.


1) General Policy Overview

SEOvault operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when AI-powered features are used (for example: analysis, generation, DAC scoring, inspiration, and article creation).

When credits are consumed, third-party AI processing and infrastructure costs may be incurred immediately.

Important: Refunds and cancellations are handled by Paddle under Paddle’s Buyer Terms, and nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer rights that apply to you.


2) Free Plan & Trial Credits

Our Free plan includes a one-time allocation of 20 credits:

  • Provided to test core functionality
  • Free credits have no cash value
  • Unused free credits can’t be transferred or converted

If you’re unsure whether SEOvault fits your workflow, start with the Free plan before purchasing a subscription.


3) Paid Subscriptions

We offer monthly subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Advanced). Pricing and plan limits may change over time, but we aim to communicate changes clearly.

3.1 Subscription billing

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance for each billing period
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You can cancel at any time to prevent future renewals

Note on unused time: Paddle’s Buyer Terms generally do not provide refunds for unused portions of a subscription period.


4) Consumer cancellation right (where applicable)

If you are purchasing as a consumer (personal use), you may have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, as described in Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

Because SEOvault is a digital service that can be made available immediately, the consumer cancellation right may not apply once you request immediate access and the service/digital content has begun, consistent with Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

(Plain English: if you start using the service right away, the standard 14-day cancellation right may be affected depending on your region and the Buyer Terms.)


5) Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed and processed by Paddle in accordance with Paddle’s Buyer Terms and policies.

In practice, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Where applicable, statutory rights (for example, if a product is faulty or not as described) still apply.

What information helps a refund request go faster

When contacting Paddle (or us), include:

  • Your account email
  • Date and amount of the charge
  • A brief explanation of the issue
  • Any screenshots if something failed technically

6) Credits, usage, and service delivery

SEOvault includes usage-based AI features. When AI features are used, credits may be consumed and processing costs may be incurred.

This section is here to explain how delivery works so expectations are clear:

  • Credits are consumed when AI features run
  • Results can be probabilistic and may vary
  • SEO outcomes depend on many external factors

This explanation does not override Paddle’s Buyer Terms or your statutory rights; it exists to clarify how the service operates.


7) Common issues we can resolve quickly (support first)

If something feels wrong, email us at support@seovault.com. We can usually fix:

  • Account access problems
  • Feature failures or outages
  • Confusing billing situations (duplicate charges, unexpected renewal, etc.)
  • Plan changes and cancellations guidance

If a billing correction or refund is needed, Paddle will process it.


8) Disputes & chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact Paddle and/or us first so we can investigate and resolve it quickly.

Payment disputes and chargebacks create additional fees and administrative overhead and may limit what we can do inside the account while an investigation is ongoing. We’ll always aim to be fair and responsive, and we encourage resolving issues directly whenever possible.


9) Policy changes

We may update this policy to reflect:

  • Pricing or plan changes
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Product evolution

The latest version will always be available on this page.


10) Final note

SEOvault exists to remove WordPress SEO friction, not create billing confusion.
