Install the Chrome Extension
SEOVault AI’s Chrome Extension is the fastest way to optimize WordPress drafts without adding another heavy SEO plugin to your site.
It opens as a side panel inside WordPress, helps you analyze and improve content, and gives you quick access to writing, SEO, linking, and formatting tools while you work.
What the Extension Does
Section titled “What the Extension Does”The Chrome Extension is built for WordPress users who want a faster publishing workflow with less plugin bloat.
With the extension, you can:
- open a side panel directly inside your WordPress editor
- analyze your draft for SEO, readability, structure, and trust signals
- generate titles, descriptions, TL;DR blocks, FAQs, and other content elements
- inject AI-generated improvements directly into your post
- use advanced writing tools like Ultra Writer and article rewriting presets

- work without installing a bulky SEO feature plugin on your WordPress site
Before You Install
Section titled “Before You Install”Make sure you have:
- Google Chrome or another Chromium-based browser that supports Chrome extensions
- access to your SEOVault AI account
- access to the WordPress admin area of the site you want to work on
If you plan to use the extension heavily inside WordPress, it is best to be logged in to both your WordPress dashboard and your SEOVault AI account before starting.
Install from the Chrome Web Store
Section titled “Install from the Chrome Web Store”Once the extension is published, installation is simple.
Step 1: Open the Chrome Web Store listing
Section titled “Step 1: Open the Chrome Web Store listing”Go to the official SEOVault AI Chrome Extension listing.
Step 2: Click Add to Chrome
Section titled “Step 2: Click Add to Chrome”Chrome will show a permissions prompt before installing the extension.
Step 3: Confirm the installation
Section titled “Step 3: Confirm the installation”Click Add extension to continue.
Step 4: Pin the extension
Section titled “Step 4: Pin the extension”After installation, click the Extensions icon in Chrome and pin SEOVault AI so it is always easy to access.
Sign In to Your Account
Section titled “Sign In to Your Account”After installation:
- Click the SEOVault AI extension icon in Chrome.
- Open the extension.
- Sign in with your SEOVault AI account.
- Confirm your session if prompted.
Once signed in, the extension will be ready to use inside supported WordPress pages.
Use the Extension Inside WordPress
Section titled “Use the Extension Inside WordPress”After installing and signing in:
- Open your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Create a new post or open an existing draft.
- Open the SEOVault AI side panel.
- Wait for the extension to detect the page and load your working tools.
From there, you can start using features such as:

Depending on your setup, the extension may also detect important WordPress editing context automatically.

The extension is designed to work directly in your browser and inside the WordPress editor. The lightweight WordPress connector plugin is mainly for the Web App workflow, multi-site syncing, and secure publishing communication.
Does the extension slow down my WordPress site?
Section titled “Does the extension slow down my WordPress site?”No. The extension runs in your browser environment and is designed to avoid adding heavy feature bloat inside WordPress itself.
Does it work only on WordPress?
Section titled “Does it work only on WordPress?”SEOVault AI is built primarily for WordPress-focused publishing workflows. Some browser-level tools can work outside WordPress, but the core product experience is made for WordPress users.
Can I use both the extension and the web app?

A common workflow is:
- use the extension for fast in-editor work
- use the web app for multi-site management, collaboration, history, and advanced linking workflows
If the Extension Does Not Appear

- refresh the WordPress page
- make sure you are logged into your SEOVault AI account
- confirm that the extension is enabled in Chrome
- confirm you are on a supported WordPress admin editing screen
- disable conflicting browser extensions temporarily and test again
- sign out and sign back in if needed
If the issue continues, use the Report a Bug option or contact support through the official SEOVault AI support channel.
Security and Permissions
Section titled “Security and Permissions”The extension only requests the permissions it needs to support its publishing and research workflow.
Depending on the final release version, permissions may be used for things like:
- interacting with supported WordPress editing pages
- opening the side panel
- helping with right-click actions
- processing selected text
- capturing screenshots when requested by the user
