Status Page: Connection, Output Mode, and Site Health Signals

The Status page provides a detailed view of your site’s SEO configuration and health. It shows which SEO plugin is active, whether other SEO plugins are detected, the current output mode, and any compatibility issues that need attention.

Where to find it

Go to SEOvault AI > Status.

System status indicators

Active Provider

Shows which SEO plugin is currently configured to output SEO meta tags:

SEOvault AI — SEOvault AI is the active provider (green badge)
Other — Another plugin is handling SEO output (gray badge)

This indicator reflects the plugin that WordPress recognizes as the primary SEO provider based on the should_output_seo logic.

Detected Plugin

Shows the specific SEO plugin that the detector identified as active:

SEOvault AI — Only SEOvault AI is detected (green badge)
Yoast / Rank Math / AIOSEO / etc. — Another SEO plugin is detected (yellow badge)

This helps you understand which plugin the system sees as the dominant SEO tool.

Other SEO Plugins Detected

Indicates whether any competing SEO plugins are installed and active:

No — No competing SEO plugins detected (green badge with checkmark)
Yes — One or more competing SEO plugins detected (red badge with warning)

When “Yes” is shown, an additional row appears listing all detected SEO plugins by name.

Installed SEO Plugins

When other SEO plugins are detected, this section lists them by name:

Yoast SEO
Rank Math
All in One SEO
Slim SEO
The SEO Framework
Other compatible plugins

Each plugin name appears as a yellow warning badge to indicate potential conflict.

Should Output SEO

Indicates whether SEOvault AI is configured to output SEO meta tags based on the current settings:

Yes — SEOvault AI will output SEO meta tags (green badge)
No — SEOvault AI will not output SEO meta tags (red badge)

This reflects the combined result of output mode, competitor detection, and compatibility settings. If “No”, SEOvault AI is effectively disabled for SEO output.

Output Mode

Shows the current SEO output mode:

Autopilot — Plugin automatically generates and manages SEO output (green badge)
Manual — You control all SEO output manually (blue badge)
Disabled — Plugin features are off; another tool handles SEO (red badge)

Change the output mode in the Output Mode tab of General Settings.

Old Connector Active

Indicates whether the legacy SEOvault AI connector plugin is still active:

No — Old connector is not active (green badge)
Yes — Old connector is still active (yellow badge)

The old connector is a separate, lightweight plugin used for web app communication. If you’ve upgraded to the full SEO plugin, you should deactivate the old connector to avoid conflicts.

Troubleshooting status issues

Competing SEO plugins detected

If the Status page shows other SEO plugins are detected:

Review the list of installed SEO plugins
Decide which plugin you want to use as your primary SEO tool
Deactivate the competing plugins in Plugins > Installed Plugins
Or switch SEOvault AI to Disabled mode if you prefer to keep the other plugin

Should Output SEO shows “No”

If SEOvault AI is not outputting SEO meta tags:

Check the Output Mode setting — if set to Disabled, change to Autopilot or Manual
Check if a competing SEO plugin is detected and taking precedence
Verify the plugin is activated in the Plugins page
Review the System Status section for any other issues

Old connector still active

If the old connector is detected:

Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins
Find “SEOvault AI Connector” or similar
Deactivate it
The full SEO plugin handles web app connection and SEO output
